Increasingly feeling disengaged with people on tumblr, discord is too impersonal and personal at the same time(I always feel like I'm annoying people), group chats are single fandom specific and... I've increasingly been missing the live journal fandom days.

So fuck it, I'm giving returning to dreamwidth a try. It's a place where I can post thoughts and ramblings and fic fragments without having to have a polished version, a place about the process, as even tumblr becomes more and more about the finished idea. Also interested in coming back to a place that moves a little more slowly.

Will keep most things locked for the moment, because these days I'm a paranoid teacher terrified my students will find my writing, and because I want to talk more about life stuff, but if you're still around from the old days, know that I still think about you often (ADHD lack of friendship degradation woo!) and would love to chat again.

Due to the general fuckwittery of LJ, and the fact that I've been thinking about this for awhile, my posts will now be made on DW. Anyone know how to make my LJ f'list entries show up on my DW reading page?

Also, please do not crosspost comments from my f'locked posts. I trust y'all, and I'm sure that goes without saying, and I know most of you feel the same way about these new features, but please please respect my wishes on this. I'll do the same. If it's a particularly witty and amusing comment, just check in and ask. It's standard procedure, really.
